South Carolina Switches to Nike in $75M Deal

The University of South Carolina is moving from Under Armour to Nike in a 10-year partnership worth $70M in product, $5M in cash, and royalties on licensed sales. The deal begins July 1, 2026.

Highlights include:

  • Football: at least 3 new uniform designs within four years

  • Women’s basketball: at least 4 new uniforms

  • Nike-led redesign of the Colonial Life Arena court

  • 15% royalties on USC-licensed Nike product sales

Unlike Tennessee’s Adidas deal, South Carolina’s contract does not include NIL provisions. Still, this marks one of the largest apparel contracts in college athletics, reinforcing Nike’s dominance in the space.
