LPGA Classic & ShopRite Extend Partnership with Player Perks and Fan-Centric Upgrades
The LPGA Classic and ShopRite have signed a multiyear extension to strengthen the tournament’s future, continuing a title sponsorship that began in 1992.
Amid calls for a refresh in recent years, the renewed partnership brings several enhancements. ShopRite covered onsite accommodations at Seaview for all players—an investment that’s already drawing praise from athletes and could help attract stronger fields moving forward.
The grocer also launched Team ShopRite, sponsoring five LPGA pros—Cheyenne Knight, Gianna Clemente, Caley McGinty, Gurleen Kaur, and Brooke Matthews—who all engaged in community and charity events ahead of the tournament.
Fan experience got a boost too, with the debut of “The Patio” on the 18th green. The new space replaces traditional grandstands with open seating, a bar, and a big screen—offering fans a casual, lively spot to take in the action.
The partnership signals a shared commitment to evolving the tournament while honoring its legacy.
