Chicago Sky Partners with Moonshot to Protect Players from Online Threats

The Chicago Sky has partnered with tech company Moonshot to shield WNBA players from online hate and threats—the first deal of its kind in the league. Originally developed for counterterrorism, Moonshot scans 25+ platforms to flag dangerous content. Human assessors—psychologists and social workers—analyze flagged posts and involve platforms or law enforcement when needed.
