WNBA’s “Viewer Discretion” Campaign Puts Star Power Front and Center
The WNBA is spotlighting five of its top stars this season with a bold new campaign titled “Viewer Discretion.” Produced by Wieden+Kennedy, the campaign features five 30-second spots and additional player-specific content across digital platforms, with more content to roll out during the 2025 Playoffs and Finals.
The stars include A’ja Wilson, Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Napheesa Collier, and Sabrina Ionescu. The campaign aims to deepen fan engagement by telling the unique stories of these athletes and celebrating their impact both on and off the court.
According to WNBA CMO Phil Cook, the league is moving away from repetitive ads to a more dynamic, tailored approach, driven by data on fan engagement. The content will appear across TV broadcasts, social media, streaming, and the WNBA app.
