Airbnb Scores Global Deal with FIFA Across Three Major Tournaments
Airbnb has entered a multi-event partnership with FIFA, becoming:
Official Partner for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup,
Official Supporter for both the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Through the agreement, Airbnb will offer Official Fan Accommodations for all three events and launch a $5M Host City Impact Program for the 2026 World Cup. This initiative will support local economic development and enhance the event experience in select Host Cities across North America.
Derek Aframe, EVP at Octagon—the agency behind the deal—said Airbnb’s focus on travel and local experience makes it a natural fit for the global reach of the FIFA World Cup.
Octagon is also helping brands like Michelob Ultra, Budweiser, Aramco, Bank of America, and Coca-Cola activate around the tournaments, showcasing how major sponsors are leveraging FIFA’s platform to deepen global fan engagement.
